Cedarville School District Cedarville, Arkansas
Cedarville, Arkansas is located 11 miles north of Van Buren in the northwest part of the state. The following scene is a familiar one to many in the insurance sector…heavy rain, flooding and the need for a top-notch restoration company.
Small town Cedarville received approximately two inches of rain in a matter of 30 minutes. To make matters worse, the town was in a very low-lying valley area. The school campus consisted of an elementary, middle and high school, which had been affected by most of the damage; water had flooded the school.
ALL CLEAN-NW received the call for restoration services four days after the loss. The initial report indicated 27 classrooms, the gym, library and administrative offices had four inches of thick mud and standing water. Immediately, the professionals of ALL CLEAN-NW sprang into action with ample crew and drying equipment caravanning to small town Cedarville.
All ALL CLEAN offices were contacted in case additional help was needed. Additional contractors were called and notified to be on “stand by" as well. The game plan; to repair, reconstruct and get the school back and in business in time for the first day of school.
Upon arriving at the Cedarville campus, operations manager Kyle Johnson quickly surveyed the damage. The water line had reached approximately 18 inches high. But much to Johnson's surprise, upon entering the school, he discovered the maintenance crew, teachers, coaches and administrative staff had mopped up much of the water and mud and removed soiled rugs and books.
Johnson met with the superintendent, principal and maintenance engineer and relayed the plan of action. ALL CLEAN-NW would dry the building and contents and reconstruct the damaged areas. In three days, ALL CLEAN-NW had removed and replaced over 12,000 square feet of ceiling tiles, removed the water line from the building, as well as, dirt and mud from the parking lots and side walks. The high school gym floor was removed, replaced and resealed in 10 days.
Johnson credits the Cedarville School District for preserving much of the school. As guaranteed, ALL CLEAN-NW completed restoration just in time for the first day of school.
