Mold Remediation & Sewage Backups |
| |
Mold and sewage backups contaminate indoor environments and create unhealthy and possibly dangerous conditions and degrade building materials. All Clean USA follows the EPA and IICRC approved S-520 standards to safely contain, remove and replace the affected building structures to insure the building is returned to the pre-loss condition. Our foremost concern is with the containment of the area and the safety of the technicians and the building occupants.
Moisture Identification Moisture must be present in order for mold to grow. We use FLIRŪ Thermal Imaging cameras to identify moisture sources. Once the source problem is fixed we dry the area to insure mold does not return. Remediation Protocols We employ third party Environmental Consultants to positively establish the presence of mold and write the remediation protocols needed to insure the building is successfully returned to pre-loss condition. Afterwards they will conduct the clearance testing to certify the structure is mold free.
Containment and Removal Successful microbial remediation is partly about containment and removal. With mold, the area being worked on is contained so microbial contamination cannot be spread elsewhere. High efficiency air scrubbers are used to capture mold spores from the air while the structure is being cleaned and repaired. This insures no contamination is spread to the surrounding areas. Sewage backups require complete removal and safe disposal of the affected structure's building materials.
EPA Registered Disinfectants Another important aspect of remediation is using the proper materials to stop and remove all microbial activity. Disinfectants that are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency insure effectively stopping microbial activity which, along with cleaning and replacing building materials, insures complete restoration.
