    Get Ready for Fall:
Cool Temperatures and Fire Prevention

The month of October truly signifies the beginning of fall. October and November are great months to view the beautiful foliage and enjoy the pleasant temperatures. A favorite time of year for many as hunters take to the woods, ghosts and goblins wander the streets and outdoor activity increases.

With the cooler nights comes the change of the thermostats and lighting the fireplaces to ward off the chill of the evenings. Leaves from the trees fall and cover our yards faster than they can be raked and piled.

In order to prevent fires this fall, ALL-CLEAN USA wants to remind insureds to do two very important inspections during cooler weather to ensure your homes are safe.

Have your furnace/fireplace serviced, cleaned and inspected before use. A fire in the home is devastating and costly to all involved. An old saying can never be truer: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Use extra caution when burning leaves. In the more rural areas, fallen leaves are often “burned” instead of “bagged.” The burn method
can be especially dangerous to not only a property owner but also surrounding neighbors. Fires can often get out of control in dry weather conditions. Be sure to note burn bans cited from your local fire department.

Of course, ALL-CLEAN USA would not be in business if not for accidental losses. ALL-CLEAN USA employees are property owners as well, with a very clear picture of the devastation fires can bring.

If you should experience damage to your home by fire, you can rest assured that ALL-CLEAN USA will be ready to respond to lessen the severity of the loss in a professional and courteous manner.

One call will do it all!

ALL-CLEAN USA wants you to enjoy the outdoors this fall and be safe!

ALL-CLEAN USA provided property adjusters in the northwest part of the state with a water education class.  Instructor Dennis Klager, a member of the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) taught the class. Klager is an approved instructor and an independent consultant.

To attend upcoming classes, please check the "Upcoming Events" section on each monthly newsletter.

I am often asked the job duties that are associated with my position at ALL-CLEAN USA. What do I do? Do I just travel around from office to office delivering lunch, various breakfast pastries and assorted cookies? I love that question. And the answer is yes... for the most part.

Because of my job, I know where some of the best bakeries in  the state are.  The bakery managers know me by name, and because of the amount of business I do month to month, I get incredible service. I know how much a dozen donuts cost, where to get really great brownies and a good barbecue lunch.  Not that any of this is resume-quality material, but if you ever need a food-related referral, I'm the person to call.

With that said, I am lucky to have a really great job. I thoroughly enjoy the people I work with and the individuals I work for…. all of you.  And I would like to say THANK YOU!

I realize how busy you are, and when it's Monday morning at 9 a.m. the last thing thing you want to do is talk to someone who is trying to solicit your business. Despite this and no matter your work load, you are always gracious. Even if you're in the middle of a phone call, you manage to wave and accept whatever I have that day: donuts, cookies, petit fores or cake.

I appreciate you allowing me to come into your offices. THE WAY I SEE IT, you could shun me, you could shut your door, you could scurry away. Rather, you are polite and take time to listen to what I have to say. Thank you for sharing your time with me.

Until the next box of whatever,
